A church of a few dozen families in rural Iowa helps keep missionaries on the field in South America and Southeast Asia, fills shoeboxes for children around the world, and stands with mothers closer to home. This is how.
Missions is not only overseas. Two causes in particular have the church family's hands as well as its offerings.
Each fall the church family packs shoeboxes with school supplies, hygiene items, small toys and a note, and sends them through Operation Christmas Child to children around the world, each box an open door for the Gospel. Boxes are collected at the church in November.
Peoples Church supports pregnancy resource ministries locally and nationally that care for mothers and their babies: free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, parenting classes, diapers and supplies, and the kind of friendship that helps a young mother choose life.
The simplest way to take part in missions at Peoples Church is to come on Wednesday night and pray with us. If you would like to give toward a missionary or a shoebox, Pastor Jack can tell you exactly where it goes.
